preliminary percentages

Over the past 27 months or so, here's the rough estimate of where I spent my money:

Rent 32.18%
Cash 14.99%
Utilities 10.95%
Auto 10.05%
Groceries 7.84%
Taxes 7.05%
Entertainment 5.31%
Medical 2.82%
Dining 2.26%
Vacation 1.87%
Misc 1.27%
Clothing 1.03%
Household 0.94%
Cat Care 0.88%
Computer 0.31%
Gifts Given 0.25%
Online 0.09%
Mail 0.06%

These are preliminary percentages because I haven't yet put my credit card purchases into Quicken and categorized them, so the numbers will change when I do that. Also, because my credit card payments are handled in Quicken simply as transfers from my checking account to one of the credit card accounts, I don't have the precentages that have gone to my credit cards. I know that Medical is going to jump up to around 10% once my orthodontist expenses are added, and Auto is going to increase as well.

Incidentally, the second largest category, Cash, is just that: spending cash I take out of ATMs. Most of that cash is spent on lunch or dinner (which means the Dining category is under-represented, as it only counts the times I use my debit card instead of cash), but other miscellaneous expenses end up there too, mostly entertainment such as going to a rock show.
