(In all answers, "you" means the person responding.)

I've been meaning to post something like this for a while. I'm curious how many readers I have, and I'm also curious how many people come directly to my journal's page. There are certain elements, such as the "Thought of the Moment" sidebar, that people who read me through their Friends' list or an RSS feed won't see.

Incidentally, LiveJournal made some changes recently, so that my default URL is now http://philaros.livejournal.com. That URL has actually worked since last June or so when I bought membership, but now it's the default. It's probably a good idea for you to change your bookmarks to that URL, if you've still got www.livejournal.com/users/philaros bookmarked.

Oh by the way, if you're reading my journal through your own Friends' page, you can just put down however often you check your Friends' page to answer how often you read my journal.

Now that you have mentioned the thought of the moment, I will be visiting to read future ones. :)

Yay! :-)

I don't actually change it very often, it tends to be every two or three weeks. The current one, about Seattle-area drivers, is staying there just until I move it into a proper post, as that's a recurring complaint so it deserves a full post.

The other thing that readers would miss is the journal subtitle, which I change occasionally as well.

Note to self, and anyone else who might be interested in the poll results: I have taken the poll myself, so that I could see the results right on my journal page, instead of having to click through two links to get them. I have my page bookmarked, I check my journal daily, and I know myself in real life - so discount one vote from each of those results.

I'm still trying to get to know *myself* in real life.

Hm.. either the poll is closed or I lack the minimum technical skills to post . I actually do use an RSS feed, as it's much easier to keep track of LiveJournal/Xanga/Blogger friends all in one place. However, Yahoo only gives me the first few lines, so for anything longer I need to click on the link to read the whole thing it sends me here.
The answers to your other questions:
2) once every few days,
3) your greatest nightmare/I'm Batman/I'm Luke Skywalker - I'm here to rescue you. I've got your R2 unit. I'm here with Ben Kenobi!

It turns out that only LiveJournal members can vote in polls. I didn't realize that. Oops.

But thanks for leaving a comment with your votes!
